THANK YOU, SCPGA JUNIOR TOUR STAFF The Southern California PGA is thrilled to announce Golf Pride Grips as the newest sponsor of the SCPGA Junior Tour. “We are proud to support the Southern California PGA Junior Golf Tour and the competitive opportunities they provide for young golfers,” said Lissa Putnam, promotions and communications manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “We enjoy being a part of their experience and look forward to being onsite at selected events to assist the players with proper fitting of their grips.” Eaton’s Golf Grip Division is the world’s largest manufacturer of golf grips, with manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities on five continents. The division’s Golf Pride brand is recognized globally as the number one choice in grips among tour and recreational players, competitive amateur golfers, club manufacturers and club repairmen. Last weekend, March 24th-25th, Sycuan Resort in El Cajon hosted the SCPGA Junior Tour’s Toyota Tour Cup. This two-day event consisted of the largest, most competitive field in the TTC Spring Series. Sycuan’s Oak Glen Course gave players the opportunity to demonstrate their best abilities and many posted red numbers. Thank you all participants, parents, and spectators for your dedication to competitive golf and the values that it represents. Boys 1st Place- Richard DeSantis, Carlsbad Richard, a 2013 graduate, posted an outstanding score of 74-68=142 (2 under par).
