17 year old, Elisabeth Bernabe, of Anaheim Hills and 16 year old, Jisoo Park, of Beaumont both qualified for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open through the qualifier at Industry Hills Golf Course. Park shot an impressive 144 (73-71) to finish 2nd and Elisabeth was just one stroke back with a 145 (71-74) to finish T3. Both girls are outstanding SCPGA Junior Tour members and we wish them the best of luck!
Sunday May 27th, Murrieta eighth-grader Alexia Gariepy, qualified for the U.S Amateur Women’s Public Links Championship with a 76 in regulation and a birdie on her first playoff hole. The qualifier was held at Painted Desert Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV and the U.S. Amateur Women’s Public Championship Links Championship will be played at Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, NJ June 18-23.
